Veracruz, during the XVII century. A mysterious captain arrives to the Governor’s house, introducing himself as Lorenzo. His ulterior motives don’t take long to surface. The night of his arrival, Lorenzo takes besieges Veracruz, and reveals himself to be a cruel looter, capable of anything in pursuit of his goal: avenging the death of his father, wrongfully hanged 25 years earlier when Lorenzo was called Leon and was just another Veracruzan kid. Lorenzo is also eager to recover his family’s most valued piece of jewelry: the legendary serpent necklace that Cortés took from Monteczuma.
